What To Expect

I am located at Slate Salon. It is an intentionally curated salon to help keep your experience luxurious and relaxing. The address is 3901 West Fwy, Suite 125, Fort Worth, TX, 76107. When you arrive, you can park in either parking lot on each side of the building.

Before your appointment you will get an email/text confirmation so keep an eye out for notifications in case you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment at that time. I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so before the 24 hour notice to avoid a 50% service charge.

When you arrive to the salon, you will be greeted by one of us girls. Feel free to take a seat on the couch and I will be over to grab you as soon as my chair is ready for you!

The process

We will begin your appointment with an in person consultation where we go talk about your current hair frustrations and goals. If you submitted a digital consultation card, this time would be used to go over that. I will use that time to walk you through my plan of action for your appointment and recommended maintenance for you going forward.

Following your consultation, I will perform whichever service we’ve discussed while you take this time to relax. You can use this time to chit chat, catch up on work, or just have some quiet time to yourself.

Once your service is done, I will make sure you are happy with your end result and follow up with at-home hair care recommendations to help maintain your new gorgeous, healthy, hair.

When recommending styling techniques and take-home products, I prioritize using formulations specifically designed to improve the overall health of your hair. My goal is to ensure your hair leaves the salon in a better and stronger condition than when you arrived. Over the course of my career, I have gained extensive experience working with a wide range of professional products. Notably, Iles Formula is an exceptional line that targets hair repair, reduces breakage, and addresses hair loss while providing nourishment suitable for all hair types.

the best way to be prepared for your appointment

  • Day 1-2 clean hair is best to receive color services unless otherwise discussed.

  • Avoid wearing any bulky hoodies or large collars.

  • If you'd like to use your appointment as quiet downtime or time to work you are more than welcome to bring a book to read, podcast to listen to or a laptop to do work on if needed. Just let me know and I am happy to give you some quiet time!

  • Keep in mind I may ask for before & after photos. If that is something you are open to then I recommend wearing a cute, neutral colored top with whatever makeup(or no makeup) look makes you feel most comfortable in front of the camera.
